Background

Krynetic is a project based in Stockholm / Nykvarn, Sweden, created to build a type of database that didn’t exist at the time — one that behaves like fast, accessible memory and can compute on data the moment it arrives.

The idea started with a practical need: sending data from Tibber into a local MQTT broker, then forwarding it to Homey Smart Home. No MQTT server could process or compute incoming values, and writing a separate app just to handle calculations felt unnecessary. That gap became the foundation of Krynetic.

Mission

To bridge the space between document databases like MongoDB and in-memory data structures — offering a system where any value can be accessed, updated, and computed with minimal effort.
